A massive turnout with over 400 drivers immersing themselves in the thrilling experience of the sim racing world and a staggering 81 drivers opted to take on the challenge of the qualifiers.

In a riveting display of skill and determination, Anton Mifsud and Maya Laferla emerged triumphant, claiming the coveted titles in the male and female categories.

In a surprising turn of events, Anton Mifsud, in his first-ever serious competition and maiden participation in Playcon, displayed extraordinary talent. Mifsud engaged in intense battles with Aaron Debattista, demonstrating his determination to secure the top spot. The male race witnessed a podium dominated by exceptional racers, with the top 3 positions claimed by Mifsud, Aaron Debattista, and Shaun Zarb. Each racer exhibited outstanding skills, making it a fiercely contested event.

On the female front, the top 3 positions were secured by Maya Laferla, Raisa Psaila, and Amy Caruana. These talented racers demonstrated prowess, strategic racing, and remarkable sportsmanship throughout the competition.

Malta National Sim Racing Championships Qualifiers at Full Speed

The qualifiers of the Malta National Sim Racing Championships 2024 commenced amidst a palpable air of anticipation. Among the contenders, Aaron Debattista wasted no time in asserting his dominance, swiftly claiming the top spot in the F4 category with his impressive lap times. Hot on his heels are Matthew Scerri and Zack Brincat, promising a fiercely contested battle for podium positions. In the GT3 category, it's Zack Brincat who has taken an early lead. However, with the qualifiers scheduled to continue until May 7th, there's ample time for challengers to rise and upset the current standings.
