TrackMaster Pro: Your Personal Driving Coach is Now Live in BETA

Every professional racing driver has a coach. Someone who watches their data, analyses their lines, tells them where they’re losing time and why. Until now, that kind of feedback required a team of engineers and a six figure budget.

We’ve spent the last several months building TrackMaster Pro, a real time coaching system that runs on every simulator at WPR. It’s now live in BETA, and every customer gets access to it from the moment they start driving.

What TrackMaster Pro does

TrackMaster Pro reads telemetry from your simulator 60 times per second. It knows your speed, throttle position, brake pressure, steering angle, gear, and exactly where you are on the track.

With that data, it does three things:

It grades every corner you drive. Not just pass or fail. Each corner is scored from 0 to 100 across multiple metrics: braking point, trail braking technique, minimum corner speed, apex position, throttle application, and exit speed. You get a letter grade from A+ to D, and specific feedback on what to improve.

It compares you against a reference. The system holds a ghost lap for each track. As you drive, it calculates your real time delta, showing you whether you’re gaining or losing time at each point on the circuit. This isn’t just a number on screen. It’s a live guide that tells you exactly where the time is.

It identifies patterns. If you’re consistently braking too late into the same corner, TrackMaster Pro spots it. If your throttle application is costing you exit speed on right handers, it tells you. The coaching isn’t random tips. It’s data driven analysis of your specific driving tendencies.

The HUD

The coaching data appears on screen through a custom overlay. The HUD includes:

A timing card showing your current lap, best lap, and sector splits. A corner coach panel that highlights your weakest corner and tells you what to work on. A delta bar showing real time gap to the reference. A position tower for multiplayer sessions. And a lap recap that appears after each lap with your grade and corner breakdown.

Everything updates in real time. No menus to navigate. No screens to tab through. The information is there when you need it and stays out of the way when you don’t.

What BETA means

TrackMaster Pro is functional and running on all 11 simulators. Customers are already using it. BETA means we’re actively refining based on real world feedback.

The corner detection algorithm works across all tracks in our rotation, but some tracks with unusual layouts need additional calibration. The grading thresholds are being tuned based on the range of skill levels we see at the venue, from first time drivers to experienced sim racers.

Voice coaching is also in development. The system will speak corner specific tips through the headset in real time, timed to arrive before you reach the corner, not after you’ve already made the mistake.

Why we built it ourselves

There are commercial coaching tools available. We evaluated them. None of them integrated with our venue system, our loyalty programme, or our customer journey.

TrackMaster Pro was built from scratch by Justin Mifsud from simtech.dev. With over 20 years of sim racing experience, Justin designed the coaching logic around what actually makes drivers faster, not what looks good in a feature list. The grading thresholds, the corner detection, the feedback timing. Every detail comes from decades behind the wheel.

The reads directly from Assetto Corsa’s shared memory, processes telemetry through the custom coaching engine, and sends results to SimTechCloud where they’re linked to your customer profile.

When you check your account at wpr.gg, you see your lap history, corner grades, personal bests, and progression over time. That data feeds into your loyalty score, your skill tier, and your leaderboard position. Everything is connected because everything was built as one system.

Over 700 hours of development have gone into the platform so far, and work continues daily. The corner grading is being refined with every real session. The voice coaching timing is being calibrated. The setup analysis is being expanded. TrackMaster Pro is live and working, but we’re transparent about the fact that it’s still evolving. Building a coaching system this detailed takes time, and we’d rather do it properly than rush it.

What’s coming next

The BETA phase is focused on three areas:

Corner name mapping. Right now the HUD shows “Turn 1”, “Turn 3”. We’re adding real corner names for every track in our rotation. “Variante del Rettifilo” is more meaningful than “Turn 1” when you’re learning Monza.

Setup recommendations. TrackMaster Pro already detects tyre temperature imbalances and pressure issues. The next step is translating those into specific setup suggestions. “Reduce front ride height by 2mm” is more useful than “car feels understeery.”

Multi lap trend analysis. Currently each lap is graded independently. We’re building the ability to track performance trends across an entire session. Are your braking points getting more consistent? Is your corner speed improving as the tyres come up to temperature? That’s the kind of analysis racing engineers do, automated for every driver at the venue.

Try it

TrackMaster Pro runs automatically on every simulator. There’s nothing to install, nothing to configure. Book a session, check in, and start driving. The coaching starts from your second lap.

Your corner grades, lap times, and progression data are saved to your profile. Come back next week and pick up where you left off.

The data from TrackMaster Pro feeds directly into our loyalty points system, which rewards learning and improvement, not just attendance. And if you’ve been putting off your first session, here’s why you shouldn’t worry about being slow.
